Madeleine – cheered on
Everton
FC during a visit to her home
city at the weekend.
Mrs McCann, 42, was spotted wearing an Everton shirt in the crowd at
Goodison Park at the club’s match against Stoke City FC with her husband
Gerry.
Mrs McCann’s parents still live in south Liverpool.
Madeleine was just three when she went missing from the Portuguese
resort Praia de Luz in 2007.
One of the earliest pictures of Madeleine released after she disappeared
showed the little girl wearing an Everton shirt.
Mrs McCann, a GP, was born in Mossley Hill but now lives in
Leicestershire with Gerry and their twins
Sean and Amelie.
