Everton Chief Executive Robert
Elstone is urging all Everton fans
in Lisbon to show their support for
Madeleine McCann by wearing their
t-shirt at the Stadium tonight.
The Blues launched an international
awareness campaign earlier this week
which will see the Club distribute
over 5,000 t-shirts to supporters
travelling to Portugal.
We want to make as much noise as
possible and there is no better way
than being united inside the Estadio
de Luz and reminding the world we
are still thinking about young
Madeleine.
"Everyone connected with Everton
remembers seeing the image of
Madeleine in her Everton kit and it
struck a chord with many who
themselves have children of a
similar age.?
He
added: ?We would also ask supporters
who have not travelled but have
friends and family in Portugal to
email or text them the message to
wear their t-shirt.?
Madeleine disappeared in May 2007
from the Portuguese resort of Praia
da Luz while on holiday with her
Liverpool-born mother Kate and dad
