Police
leak diary extracts to media |

Portuguese police investigating the disappearance of Madeleine McCann have
leaked extracts of Kate McCann's diary to local media.
The diary was handed over to the prosecutor investigating the disappearance of
four year old Madeleine McCann overnight.
Portuguese newspapers have since run extracts from the diaries, reportedly
written both before and after Madeleine went missing.
In it, McCann tells of how exhausted she feels dealing with Madeleine and her
younger twin siblings.
She also writes that she feels husband Gerry was not doing enough to help with
family chores.
Kate and Gerry McCann have been named as suspects in the disappearance of their
four year old daughter from their holiday apartment in Praia da Luz in early
May. |
