Complaints Commission that the newspaper
had wrongly reported that he had accused
the McCanns of being involved in their
own child's abduction.
Resolution:
The complaint was resolved when the
newspaper removed the online version of
the article and published the following
statement:
On September 17, in a report about
internet trolls who have posted sick
comments on missing Madeleine McCann, we
stated that David Bret has accused Kate
McCann of being involved in her
daughter's disappearance. David Bret
denies this.
