Supreme
Court decides that Gonçalo Amaral does
not have to pay compensation to McCann
couple
Former
Judiciaria inspector had accused
Maddie's parents of being involved in
the child's disappearance
The
Supreme Court of Justice says that
former Policia Judiciaria inspector
Gonçalo Amaral will not have to pay the
McCann couple half a million euro over
accusing Maddie's parents of involvement
in the child's disappearance.
The
judicial decision has been revealed by
SIC and was confirmed to PUBLICO by the
court, that thus upholds a previous
decision from the Appellate Court last
April - which rendered void a previous
judicial decision that prohibited the
sale and the production of new editions
of the book about the case, written by
the former inspector, as well as any new
editions of the DVD |
